ABOUT ME

I am a Colorado Native.  I married my hard working husband, Tom in 1988.  We have two wonderful sons, Sean and David.  Sean is an Engineer and lives in Denver.  David is a Visual Merchandiser, spreading his wings and lives in the Big Apple, New York City .  Both of my sons have the creating gene, one is a woodworker in his spare time and the other is a full time visual artist.  I have been paper crafting for 25 years, blessed to have a wonderful friend who introduced me to scrapbooking and to Stampin' Up stamps.  I also am a knitter and a quilter.  All of these crafts bring me great joy on taking a product, mixing colors and creating something beautiful to share with others!  We all love to travel and have been fortunate to see many parts of the United States including Alaska and Hawaii, Great Britain, Europe, Mexico, Carribbean, and even India!  I work full time and am looking excitedly to retirement.

I became a hobbist demonstrator in 2017.  After moving to Frederick, Colorado in 2014 along with the closing of some of my favorite paper crafting supply stores, I began frequently trolling online for crafting supplies.  I met Jen Van Winkle from Lincoln, NE, at a scrapbooking retreat in Oskosh, WI that I attended with my scrapbooking bestie.  Jen shared her Stampin' Up shopping site with me.  I instantly fell in love with the colors and themes, and the concept that everything was color coordinated.  My first order was a big one as I was starved for new supplies.  She explained Stampin' Up's demonstrator sign up offer which saved me money on a large portion of my order.  Three years later, while contemplating retirement in the next year or so (COVID may have dashed those dreams), I thought it might be the right time to dip my toes into the water and take the next step into being an actual demonstrator.

Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone put together that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
